Job Description:

We are looking for Tax Accounting Professionals to join our growing CPA firm. You will be responsible for compliance and client service for high net worth individual clients and small businessesResponsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for business and personal clients
• Review tax returns prepared by seasonal tax staff
• Research fundamental tax issues
• Interview new tax clients; onboarding and servicing
• Participate in individual client tax planning activities
• Provide resolution for client deficiency notices from tax authorities
• Tax return delivery, billing, and e-filing
• Business development and firm revenue growthQualifications:
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in business and personal tax preparation.
• Prior CPA firm experience required
• Active CPA license and PTIN required.
• Experience with current tax software programs and reporting tools
• Knowledge of taxes relating to payroll, property tax, and sales tax
• Strong, positive client relations skills and relationship building
• Detail and deadline-oriented. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Incentives available for business development. Existing book of business a plus.
