Job Description:
A company is looking for a UM Medical Director specializing in
Orthopedic and Surgery, with a focus on improving healthcare
quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve quality and promote evidence-based medicine
Provide information on quality and efficiency to inform care
choices
Work with medical director teams on various clinical reviews
Required Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Active, unrestricted physician state license
Current board certification in ABMS or AOA specialty
5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
Solid understanding of evidence-based medicine and managed care
principles
