Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN CVPICU for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.Job Description & Requirements

Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**Required:--- CA License--- 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment--- PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained--- Heart transplant experience--- Willing to float between units--- BLS--- PALS--- Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation--- Flu shotTraveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.Shifts: (discussed in interview)--- 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available--- Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun.--- 13 week contractsRequested Time Off:6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays (contract can't end before New Years)No RTO requests allowed during this timeframe: 12/22-12/28*Self scheduling!Ratio:1:1-2Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO.
