• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred.
• Pediatric Pharmacology Exam required.
• Driver's license or state ID required upon first day.

  • Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position at Rady Childrens Hospital - San Diego.
  • 2 years pediatric ED experience required.
  • RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current CA RN license
    • BLS
    • PALS
    • 2 years recent experience in a segmented/separate pediatric ED or Children's hospital.
    • Experience with computerized charting
    • Triage experience, IV Start, Tele, Conscious Sedation
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12s variable or straight nights
      • Can request blocked scheduling
      • No more than 6 days RTO.
      • Must be available for all holidays, no holiday RTO allowed
      • 13 or 26 week contracts
      • Variable Shift explanation: Travelers will not be scheduled a day shift then a night shift. They can be scheduled any of our 7 different shifts depending on needs at that time.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Position specifically requires experience in a pediatric ED or Children's hospital environment.
          • Additional Details
          • Valid photo ID is required.
          • Flu shot required.
          • Other certifications may be required depending on the specific unit of the hospital.
