Safety)We have a great opportunity for qualified candidates to work
in our Trust & Safety engineering team. You will work hand in hand
with game title developers to integrate upcoming games with SIE's
online safety technologies. You'll work with Product and Operations
teams to identify integration requirements, and with other
engineers to implement any new services or applications
identified.This role provides an exciting way to help PlayStation
keep its players safe online, and to contribute to the gaming
community as a whole. You'll integrate and develop innovative
services and applications to detect, report, and action toxic
actors and content in games and on the PlayStation Network. If you

you!Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions to ensure
the highest levels of Trust & Safety within the PlayStation
ecosystem.
- Collaborate with game studio developers to ensure their titles
offer the highest level of online safety support, legal compliance,
all while fitting into SIE's safety policies and strategies.
- Apply your expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex
problems, ensuring flawless performance and reliability.
- Contribute to PlayStation's future direction by partnering with
collaborators to identify alignments, common workflows, propose
architectures, and work across multiple regions to achieve
them.
- Work diligently to improve existing systems and processes,
continuously striving for progress and perfection.Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a
related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3+ years professional experience writing scalable
server-side code, or full stack applications.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python,
Angular JS, React, or similar.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention
to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive
environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to
effectively convey complex technical concepts, able to adapt your
style to the differing needs of our partners.Preferred
Qualifications
- Current experience of Trust & Safety practices and
technologies.
- Experience working as, or with, a game title developer on a
shipped product.

the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy
and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related
factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and
location. In addition, this role is eligible for SIE's top-tier

bonus package.The estimated base pay range for this role is listed
