If you're passionate about veterinary care, we'd love to have you on our team!About the role: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our oncology team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker, thrives under pressure, and has experience with oncology procedures and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:Administer and monitor chemotherapy, following safety protocols.--Track patient vitals and provide supportive care during treatment.--Collect and process lab samples (blood, urine, etc.).--Assist with diagnostic imaging (X-rays, CT, MRI).--Educate and support pet owners on treatment and home care.--Prepare patients for procedures and monitor recovery.--Maintain detailed medical records and treatment logs.--Manage inventory and maintain oncology equipment.--Follow strict infection control protocols.--Collaborate closely with veterinary team for patient care.Qualifications:Certification: RVT preferred--Experience: 1-2 years in veterinary medicineSchedule:Mon-Wed and Sat or SunFull-TimeCompensation:Pay Range: $26 - $34/ hrBenefits:Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, 3 weeks accrued paid time off, and uniformsHighly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.Competitive Vet Assistant and RVT CE allowance annuallyVetBloom access: Race approved continuing education, training, and curriculum libraryLicense application and renewal reimbursement for RVT'sOpportunities for growth and advancement--Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
